Black-Owned Market

In February, we partnered with CBC to curate a Black-Owned Market inside their downtown head office and public atrium in celebration of Black History Month.

We invited a lineup of local Black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs to showcase their work, handling vendor outreach, selection, and contracts to ensure a thoughtful mix of offerings. Our team also designed the floorplan and run of show, shaping the flow of the event from start to finish. To set the atmosphere, we brought in a live jazz band featuring some of Toronto’s most talented Black musicians, filling the space with energy and cultural richness.

Throughout the event, we wove in details that highlighted community and connection—warm hospitality, a dynamic marketplace setting, and opportunities for guests to engage directly with the vendors.

The result was a meaningful celebration that amplified the voices of Black entrepreneurs and artists, while positioning CBC as a champion of culture, creativity, and community engagement during Black History Month.
